About Me!
Hi, I’m Lowri, and my journey into the music world started at UCA, where I studied Music Journalism and graduated with First Class Honours. (woo!) My final project was a real labour of love—a bilingual zine called Ty Swn, which celebrated the independent music scene here in Wales. I couldn’t believe the community that sprang up around it. I even managed to sell over 100 copies, and though I planned a second issue, life’s realities—time and money—put that on pause. BUT...never say never!
In 2022, I was honoured to be 1 of 6 in Wales chosen for the Young Promoters Network project. With a small grant and some guidance, I began putting on live music events locally. And wow, it’s amazing what you can create with a pizza place and a dream!
Alongside working full-time and promoting part-time, I added even more to my tuneful plate and began managing an incredible artist, my good friend Harri Pick (check out her Spotify!). What I’ve loved most throughout this journey isn’t just the big milestones, but the skills I've developed —the connecting with people, organising gigs, creating artwork, managing details—that keep the music alive. I’ve been so lucky throughout my musical journey to speak on panels, run music journalism workshops, and be featured in Welsh magazines—all experiences that have deepened my commitment to supporting our vibrant music community.
And so, finally, after many years of balancing hospitality work and my passion for music, I’m excited to take this leap into something new: offering Virtual Music Support Services tailored for musicians who want to focus on creating and performing while someone else handles the behind-the-scenes. I’m here to help musicians reclaim their time and energy, so they can do what they do best: make great music and build their audience.
Let’s make music happen—together.
